Review: Mary Kay Lipstick in Sweet Nectar
If you’re a big fan of nude lipstick then having Sweet Nectar lipstick creme is definitely a grab. It’s not completely nude it’s more peach like in color but indeed the color in my lips compliments my fair complexion thus gives the natural look on my lips. The packaging comes in black and light pink color, totally girly! Here’s a few snaps along with my swatch…
excuse the blurred pic, I tried to be as close as possible but it is way better than this… promise!
A pale rosy shade of pink. One of the many glamorous shades from Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick collection. It’s packed with vitamin E and a vitamin C to help defend against wrinkle-causing radicals. Verdict: There is no shimmer in it . It’s a great color for everyday wear, especially for office. It’s long-wearing so it is well worth the money. It has a very lightweight creamy texture so application is very easy, and doesn’t feel to sticky and smudgy.
Overall: 9/10 retail price is $13. I am very skeptical on trying out new things. I’ve always wanted to find a peach or nude looking lipstick but still has a hint of color in it. So when I was presented with Sweet Nectar, I knew already I had to order myself one. It reminds me of pink soda’s nude lipstick [a store in the philippines for women’s apparel, accesories, and cosmetics]. Will definitely buy myself another.
FTC: I bought this Mary Kay lipstick myself and made this entry post for my honest review. I was not compensated to make this entry. I am not affiliated with Mary Kay and this is 100% my honest opinion.
