Trendy Plaid Clothing And Accessories That You Don’t Want To Miss
The fashion and style of any plaid clothing or material do come and go. But at the season of fall last 2012; people at the community of fashion noticed a huge increase in plaid outfit and accessories. Whatever the cause or the reason behind this trend, it is clear that big names at the fashion industry are already getting their hands at the plaid clothing. Below are some of the notable creations that are perfectly plausible to wear at every day of autumn. They are all getting huge attention because of their preppy yet chic style at this kind of trending and reinvented fashion.
Dress
Plaid dress is simply the best. Dresses that are created for the plaid trend looks great and fashionably superb for me. The Roland Mouret India Tartan Wool-Blend Dress, Thakoon Addition Quilted Leather and Plaid Wool-Blend Dress and Boy. by Band of Outsiders Sleeveless Plaid Dress are all getting great attention at this outfit category.
Shirts
The Étoile Isabel Marant Madoc Oversized Cotton plaid shirt, 10 Crosby Derek Lam Silk Wrap Blouse and Alexander Wang Trompe l’Oeil Plaid Top are personal choices of mine. Why? If you will check their corresponding photos online, they really look sexy and comfy for me.
Skirts
Whatever kind of type of plaid skirts, they all look good to me. I mean, if I am wearing skirts like the American Apparel Double-Layered Full Length Skirt, Thakoon Addition Dark Green Plaid Mini Skirt and Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Bustle Plaid Skirt, for sure it can further increase my statement in fashion.
Pants
I’ve seen the best the worst of plaid pants as a fashion enthusiast. But the plaid pants of today are all looking trendy and stylish. If I will be given the chance to buy the pants I like, I will choose any of the following brands.
– Chloé Plaid Cropped Pants – Theory Testra Invictus Plaid Wool Pants – April, May Celeste Cedar Plaid Suede Pants
Sweaters
Plaid sweaters seem to be common during fall season. If you will take a closer look at people around you wearing plaid sweaters, you might notice that they are all looking somewhat identical to each other. This is why the unique and stylish Tory Burch Hutton Crewneck Sweater, Clu Plaid Color Block Sweater and Jonathan Saunders Phoebe Cashmere-Blend Sweater are becoming the top choice for women.
Outerwear
Coats and jackets don’t have to be plain and somewhat ugly (as what other people say). If you are looking for plaid outerwear, you might want to check out Burberry Wool Blend Swing Coat, Laveer Double-Breasted Plaid Jacket and Aubin & Wills Ouston Plaid Wool Poncho to see if they are the one you are looking for.
Accessories
Plaid accessories are all over the place. From the pumps and boots up to scarf and bags. What makes each other unique is the style and comfort they can give. I am seeing a lot of women within the fashion industry going after the Cole Haan Chelsea Platform Pumps, Christian Louboutin Sweet Charity Small Leather Bag, Burberry Clemence Check Rain Boots and Jil Sander Wool Plaid Scarf as their plaid stylized accessories.
The trend in terms of plaid outfit is here to stay. I mean the style and design might change but the touch of plaid will remain the same. How about you? Any plaid outfit and accessories recommendation?

Plaid looks great on models doesn’t it? I am not much of a plaid fan but I do appreciate it’s beauty when worn by someone.

I love plaid but it doesn’t suit me, so I just bought plaid skirts for my baby girls and it looked good on them. I love all your photos.

Oh em. Plaid everywhere. Is it really trending now? I guess I should really have at least one plaid in my closet now.

Oh… look at that plaid purse! So cute and trendy! I actually love plaid outfits! I have several dresses in plaid and tops, too! No pants as I think I don’t look good on one. LOL.

I like plaids but I’d rather stick with skirts, bags and umbrellas. I’m not sure if I can pull off wearing it as a shirt or dress. A jumper or coat maybe. 🙂
