Fashion Quest
‘Day in a Life of a Fashion Blogger’ With The Lumia 920
Yesterday I have shared “My Re-Switch Story to Lumia 920” … and just in case you missed it, I highly suggest that you check it out first so you can understand my story better.
I’m a full time Fashion and Beauty blogger and having a phone that I can rely heavily on is very important. The Nokia Lumia 920 is monstrously packed with an 8.7mpx, 7-8 seconds faster streaming of videos and podcast, Pure View, Responsive touch screen without requiring the removal of gloves, Gorilla lens, Windows os and a great selection of app on the market place like the free Tom and Jerry video collection app. Basically everything that I could need for photography, social networking and even entertainment.
For my collaboration with Nokia we started filming in Milano Centrale which is the main railway station of Milan, Italy. It is Italy’s second largest train station and has about 600 trains on transit per day. Milano Centrale’s architecture design literally looks like it came out of a movie scene. Just when I thought the movies have captured it at its best, nothing can compare to seeing it in person …
About 3 stops away from the main station is Monte Napoleone which is Milan’s Fashion district. From there you can easily spot the famous Duomo [church] and is also known as the smart shopping zone of the city. Each street has something to offer and if you’re a Fashion Blogger, you can easily find inspiration all over. There’s always a store to check out and just to name a few are Versace, Armani, Rolex, Swarovski, Dolce, Alexander McQueen, etc. There’s also a shopping mall “La Rinascente” where you have perfume store’s like Chanel and Makeup store like MAC where I purchased my MAC makeup haul. At La Rinascente, I met Paula and had my makeup done. Her superb makeup artistry skills transformed my look from daily wear to high fashion look. Love you to bits Paula!
By night time, Milano Centrale’s streets transform to an enchanting hot spot filled with lovers, friends, and even tourist checking out the Duomo with the gigantic lighted up Christmas tree or open market (which you can see on my re-switch story).
I find inspiration for my blog post and even for my outfit ensemble from everything around me. The colors, the shape, and even the texture combination give me the ideas to come up with something creative in hopes to inspire other people across the world. The way I look simply reflects how I really feel as I would love have my ensembles be able to speak for me. I want to be able to leave a statement without even the need for words, same goes as to how pictures can capture memories and do all the talking.
