Today I started my day really early. Got off the house at 8:40am to go to the bank and pay rent. It was really freezing outside. I have noticed that the street is somehow shimmering with a bit of ice particles. That can only mean two things, first wearing high heeled boots would most definitely be not a good idea as it will be slippery and second that winter snow is starting to fall. I got off the bank pretty quick. It was an “in-and-out” transaction. So even if I have planned to head home straight after the bank, since everything went too quick I found myself half hour later in the midst of the plaza shopping. LOL. My feet surely knows where to take me. They say pair your feet with a nice shoes and it will take you places. Mine surely did. HA! So, I ended up with a few hauls!!! I even got earmuffs, which makes me happy as I finally got to replace my old ones that I left in my old place. Speaking of winter snow, that is also a reminder that winter is out the door and some of my friends are heading back to work or school and because of that I got inspired to mix and match an outfit that bids winter break goodbye…

I kept the look simple with two tones, light and dark. I decided to wear a white long sleeve and top it with my patterned sweater. Matched it with a mini short shorts and knee high socks to make my legs look longer and paired it with a cream platform shoes. Somehow I have this “idea” like I’m portraying a nerdy like school girl look. Hope y’all like my share post for today. Til’ next update. xox

01/14/2012Love it! It’s so hard to match black and white though, but it looks alright. I would still have gone for black heels because with the black socks it would have elongated your legs even more. I love the colour combinations but I would have gone for black shorts instead.
I wish I had earmuffs, they are soooo cute! but my boyfriend bought me a hat last year with little ear flaps so I guess I don’t need them x)

Well I guess the guys at work are pretty geeky, we all work in web design and computers! It was just a job that was a bit difficult and challenging XD
