Ready to Revisit Spain
Winter is just in, and despite that we still have days that are quite nice and sunny. With that being said, it makes me wonder how long winter will be this season. I’m not a big fan of cold weather. I would choose summer over any other season in a heartbeat. Although, I still do appreciate winter’s beauty. Especially in my case as I grew up in the Philippines where there is no winter season at all.
We rarely travel during winter time and would stay indoors and enjoy our favorite tv shows over a hot cup of chocolate milk. During this time, we also start planning for trips that we would love to take during spring and summer. We both love to travel and check out new places. We enjoy learning a bit of history together and trying out new cuisines from places we visit. Most of the travels that we have done together are in Europe. We try our best to maximize our visit and check out famous places that are well known for that country / city. The only country that we have visited that really needs revisiting would be Spain. We were only able to visit Madrid and Gibraltar but not Barcelona.
There are a lot of things I would like to do and check out there, and Picasso’s Museum is on top of my list. Who wouldn’t want to see this artistic genius’s gallery? Not that I’m being a geek, but I can surely appreciate a work of art when I see one. So at this point, we’re discussing around when will we be traveling to Barcelona and if we will be booking our hotel online with travel deals. We have always booked our hotels and flight over the internet to avoid hassle and waste of time.
Honestly speaking, I easily get tired and I really don’t want to burn myself out hunting for hotels that still have some vacancy. We have only done that once in Verona, and I swore from that day that I will never book a hotel in person. It took us about 45 minutes before finally finding one that have an available room. When we visit Barcelona, I just want to arrive, unpack, relax for a few minutes and set out on the city to check out hot spots La Rambla and Gaudi’s grand designs. There are a lot of things to do that cost from little cash to nothing at all. Their fresh seafood is something that I am keeping an eye on as well as I can surely enjoy a good meal before ending my day.
