My Style

Inspired by the Basketball Wives

Hello there beautiful and awesome readers! Hope y’all are having a wonderful blessed weekend. My week went fast and really well. Quite busy in fact which is why I am glad it’s already Saturday. I always make it to a point to take breaks on the weekend. So no works or anything related to my online gigs. I simply focus on relaxing and unwinding. Except, it always makes me cram on Monday as I did no work at all days prior to that. LOL. I need to work around on my schedule and habits to lessen the cramming.

Anyway, this afternoon boyf and I went grocery shopping and while we’re there he suggested that I should check out the department store for some jeans. You would assume he’s going to be hanging around to check out clothes with me but nope. ^^, Just like any other typical guy he’s not big in window shopping and all. So while I am busy fitting some jeans, he’s running an errand for me at the western union department. When he got back, he asked if I did find any jeans and I told him no…not because they don’t have any, but simply because they’re all too long and big! I can;t believe I am actually saying that too! Most of the jeans only have size 3 as the smallest and I sincerely thought I can fit it just fine. Lo’ and behold it is too big for me. So boyf suggested some shorts and I did find 4 pairs that I love and I got 3 of those shorts in size 0 and one in size 1 as that’s the smallest on that design. Yep… I am still a size zero after all these years. Somehow one part of me can’t believe that I am still that small in size when I really look chunky and full. I didn’t say I’m fat I just know that I am not toned and I am quite chunky. Also, I have also gotten two maxi dresses which I am showing to y’all today. I won’t be featuring the shorts just yet so you’ll have to check back my blog again. Tee-hee.

Maxi Dress

The maxi dress looks absolutely gorgeous! I just need to be careful washing it as the fabric is quite delicate and I really love the dress and I don’t want it to get worn out fast. I’d most likely try the flat washers and if I feel like it needs extra TLC I’ll just hand wash it. Lmao. I know, I’m exaggerating, but I just can’t help it. I love it to bits and totally makes me fee girly / womanly. It also reminds me of the ladies from Basketball Wives where they wear their maxi dress on typical days. If you’re not a follower of the show you’re totally missing out. Specially if you’re into fashion, style and drama! Shaunie O’neal produced a brilliant show featuring Evelyn Lozada, Jennifer Williams, Tami, Suzie and Royce. The show brings so much to the table that I am simply hooked! I even fell in love with the big hoop earrings that they are sporting and now, with the maxi dresses too! Check it out and let me know what y’all think. xox
