Make the most of your Gold Jewelry
Gold is made of lustrous yellow metal that is very valuable and is often used in jewelry. It is the epitome of class, elegance and status. It symbolizes a monetary standard and represents wealth and riches. Karatage (e.g.; 18k, 22k, 24k gold) indicates the purity of gold in a piece of jewelry. Pure gold is too soft for everyday wear, so it is fused with a mixture of metals such as nickel, copper as well as silver to make it sturdier. The color of gold jewelry varies by the type of metal alloys used. Popular colors of gold jewelry are Yellow Gold, White Gold and Rose Gold.
Caring for Gold
Gold is the metal that keeps it value through time, thus making gold jewelry timeless. Typical abrasions occur on jewelries worn on a regular basis. To prolong its luster keep away from harsh cleaning products, such as bleach chemicals. For cleansing, it is still best to use warm water and non-detergent soap.

- “Show Your Gold Style” Instagram Contest – Anyone can enter to win a $1500 MSRP bangle by taking an image sharing either gold product or gold inspiration on Instagram using the hashtag #MIGMcontest. Each image will count as a separate entry. At the end of the contest, the image with the most “Likes” as of May 31st will be the winner.
