Dreaming of My Happy Ending

As the years go by, I do at one point day dream of a beautiful wedding. I probably watch one too many chick flicks that end up with such a beautiful happy ending. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying some feel good movies, as long as I stay realistic as to how life really is.

Let’s face it, I am not getting any younger … I’m in my mid-20’s and before I even know it, I’d be closer to my late 20’s. Not that I have anything against age … but I really wish and dream to get married before I start looking so old and wrinkly. LOL. I want to be able to look back, smile and enjoy the beautiful memories.

If I can, of course I want a Cinderella wedding. I’d be dressed like a princess to be swoon over by my prince. Although of course, I am no princess so to be realistic a small intimate celebration is more than enough. I don’t need a flashy ring, I just want it to be unique and most probably a marquise cut. I would love to wear a simple white dress with a bit of lace and pearl details and V neck in the front with an open back. The dress won’t be the traditional long one and I prefer it to be just above the knee. The veil can be long and trail along behind me but I don’t really mind whatever style. For the hairstyle I would like to wear my hair in a French up-do with a bit of hair curled away trickling down the sides of my face.

Overall, what’s really important is to be happy and to share that special moment with my loved-one’s and family. A fairy-tale won’t be complete without the rest of the characters in it … my kind of romance is pretty simple and basic. I can always change how my story is written, but a woman can dream right?
