Guilt Free

Not many of you know what “Polyp” means… and mind you it is not a situation you would want to be in. Here’s the thing… I have been feeling pain on my upper right chest just a bit below my rib cage for quite some time now. I’m pretty sure y’all have heard this from my tweets already… although I try no to. For me it is quite pointless to share negative and ill feelings. I’m just not that type of person. LOL. Anywho, I decided to share it here so I can share what I know already about the said illness.

Gallbladder polyps are growths or lesions resembling growths (polypoid lesions) in the wall of the gallbladder. The cholesterol polyps form when excessive amounts of cholesterol are laid down in cells beneath the surface of the lining of the gall bladder. They are associated with cholesterol gallstones 50-70% of the time.

Basically, there is no known cure for polyps, so if you have one and it’s larger than 10 millimeters (mm) you will have to have your gallbladder surgically removed. Scary, right? So since I have been having pain every time I intake too much fatty foods, soda, or even alcohol I decided to try and eat healthy. Maybe not daily but at least I’ll try. đŸ™‚ I’m just not ready yet to give up my gallbladder. Too young to be under the knife in my opinion. So no, I am not trying to eat healthy to loose weight, but to try and save my organ as much as I can. I guess it can be like a double purpose too… LOL.
