ANTM College Edition: Crimped Hair Trend

By  |

America’s Next Top Model always has something fresh to share. Every time I try to catch up with their old [if not older] episodes, I always find myself hooked and drooling over styles and blown away with inspiration. The latest one that I have watched was their College Edition about a month ago. The crimped hair style was definitely new for me and I just love how it adds that pizzazz to a boring, typical hairstyle. Check out some of my favorite snaps from the show …

Some of you may like it, and some may actually think it’s a little too much. Then again, in the world of fashion, it’s all about re-creating looks and making a statement. Minimalism have its own edge, but playing it safe is basically borderline to boring. Life is too short to stay on the safe side. Try something new and different, enjoy and have fun. With that being said, I have decided to order my own crimper. I have chosen Bed Head Tigi Totally Bent.

The iron is 2 inch wide and heats up quite fast. There are 3 heat settings available “low, medium and high” and powers up at 110 volt [120VAC]. Since I am in Italy I have to use a power converter to make it compatible to 220. Overall the experience was great and I really like the product.

Extra: My hair is naturally straight and won’t hold a crimped hair for long unless I use a strong hold hairspray. To check out how the look came out please visit my post “Release Your Inner Beast“.
